Adele set to record another James Bond theme song

the next biggest thing happening to the James Bond movies. Latest news is that producers are keen to sign her up for a second song for the next cinematic offering.

After scoring a hat trick this awards season with Skyfall – nabbing an Oscar, BRIT and Golden Globe – The Sun reports that Eon Productions want Adele to record another track for the spy series.

An insider told The Sun: ‘Producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele’s presence on the next film will replicate that success.

It’s hoped Adele will follow in the formidable footsteps of Dame Shirley Bassey, who recorded three Bond theme tunes, including Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker.

The next Bond film will be the 24th installment and studio bosses have put Adele at the top of their list of names to produce the theme song.

Adele is certainly an in demand lady, last week it emerged she sparked a TV bidding war after a fly away comment at the Oscars, where she said: ‘Maybe I’ll do an HBO special like Beyonce did.’

News then emerged that American TV heavyweights began working on ideas for a show focusing on the British star and are considering lucrative deals.

There really is no stopping Adele!
